Madras Institute of Technology (MIT) is one of the pioneering institutions of professional education in India. Founded in 1949 by Mr. C. Rajam, it boasts of an illustrious history in training and grooming talented young minds from all over the country. Owing to its high educational standards it has been producing distinguished alumni like our former president Dr. A.P.J.Abdul Kalam, versatile genius like Sujatha. MIT is well famous among students for its grand old cultural fiesta, theMITAFEST.
The number of students attending MITAFEST has been increasing each year and there is a great amount of participation from students from all over the country. Last year we had a strength of around 8000 and this year we expect even more. We expect around 9000 people to attend the event.
Mitafest has always attracted students from different institutions and we have done our best to provide a wonderful platform for students to showcase their talents. This year, it shall be bigger and better and your presence shall be one of the main reasons for it.
