The Indian reality game show Bigg Boss Tamil aired on Star Vijay from June 25th, 2017 to September 30th, 2017. The season's presenter was Kamal Haasan.For the first season of Bigg Boss, a lavish house set was constructed at EVP theme park, Chennai. The show was aired from 9:00 to 10:30 pm on weekdays and 8:30 to 10:00 pm on weekends.The winner of the first season of Bigg Boss Tamil was Tiruchchirapalli-based model-actor Aarav who received a cash prize of ₹50 lakh. Lyricist and actor Snehan was the runner-up.
