Actor Jiiva’s next movie Gorilla cast a ape for action and comedy sequences.For that instead of using VFX the team getting a real chimpanzee named Kong from Thailand where animals are trained for Hollywood films like Planet of the apes.Jiiva doing the main lead in this action comedy thriller while Arjun Reddy fame Shalini Pandey bags the female lead in her first debut Tamil movie. Vikram Vedha fame Sam C S handling the music and Ruben is the editor.Director Don sandy shared this info with timesgroup, also mentioned that shooting begins this Jan 22 and continued in Bangkok.
