Bigg Boss Tamil is the Tamil-language version of the reality TV programme Bigg Boss broadcast in India. It follows the Big Brother format, which was first developed by Endemol in the Netherlands. Bigg Boss Tamil has rolled out on 25 June 2017 on Star Vijay. Kamal Haasan host the show.

Bigg Boss Tamil is a reality show based on the Hindi show Bigg Boss which too was based on the original Dutch Big Brother format developed by John de Mol. A number of contestants (known as "housemates") live in a purpose-built house and are isolated from the rest of the world. Each week, housemates nominate two of their fellow housemates for eviction, and the housemates who receives the most nominations would face a public vote. Eventually, one housemate would leave after being "evicted" from the House. In the final week, there were three housemates remaining, and the public voted for who they wanted to win. Unlike other versions of Big Brother, the Indian version uses celebrities as housemates, not members of the general public.

Big Boss Tamil to get an early end?

Kamal Haasan's Tamil version of Bigg Boss in Star Vijay TV has kick started last Sunday. Right from the beginning the show has seen a tremendous response. Bigg Boss is a reality show in which a number of contestants (known as "housemates") live in a purpose-built house and are isolated from the rest of the world. The events in the house will be filmed by 100s of cameras set up in it. Acor Kamal would be appearing on every Saturday to review the past week's event in the house and announce the eliminations.

The contestants for the episode are actors Shree, Anuya, Vaiyapuri, Gayathri Raghuram, Bharani, Oviya, Harathi Ganesh, Ganja Karuppu, Ganesh Venkatram, Sakthi, Namitha, Snehan, model Aarav, Jallikkattu fame Julie and Miss India contestant Raiza Wilson. The show is already a hit and topped in TRP ratings. However, as the days go the show started reciving oppose from various group.

HIndu Makkal Katchi has announced that they will demonstate protests agains the show. They claim that the show is demeaning Hindu beliefs and supports western practices. Many social activists also condemned the tone and tenor of the show which influences kids and families and demanded the makers to stop the show immediately, however the channel don't have the idea of stopping the show in near future.

சமீபகாலங்களில், டிஆர்பி ரேட்டிங்கில் பின்னுக்குச் சென்றுள்ள ஸ்டார் விஜய் டிவி, பிக் பாஸின் தமிழ் பதிப்பின் மூலம் தங்களுடைய ரேட்டிங்கை 50 சதவீதம் வரையிலும் உயர்த்தி உள்ளது. நடிகர் கமலஹாசன் தொகுத்து வழங்கும் இந்த நிகழ்ச்சி கடந்த ஞாயிறு அன்று தொடங்கப்பட்டு தமிழகம் முழுக்க பேசுபொருளாகி இருக்கிறது. நடிகைகள் நமீதா, ஓவியா, அனுயா, நடிகர்கள் கணேஷ் வெங்கட்ராம், சக்தி, வையாபுரி, கஞ்சா கருப்பு என பரிச்சயமான நட்சத்திரங்களுடன் ஆரவ், ஜூலி என புது முகங்களும் இதில் கலந்து கொண்டுள்ளனர். இந்த நிகழ்ச்சியில் பிரபலமானவர்கள் ஒரே வீட்டில் 100 நாட்களுக்கும் மேலாக தங்கி இருந்து அங்கு தரப்படும் போட்டிகளை சமாளித்து, பார்வையாளர்களின் வாக்குகளின் அடிப்படையில் வெற்றியாளராக அறிவிக்கப்ப படுவார். அவர்களின் அத்தனை நடவடிக்கைகளும், நூற்றுக்கணக்கான கேமராக்கள் கொண்டு கண்காணிக்கப் படும். ஒவ்வொரு சனிக்கிழமையும் நடிகர் கமல் இந்த நிகழ்ச்சியில் தோன்றி அந்த வார நிகழ்வுகளை ரிவ்யூ செய்து, போட்டியாளர்களை எலிமினேட் செய்வார்.

'ரகுவீரா' கன்னட படத்தின் இசை வெளியீட்டு விழா பெங்களூருவில் நடைபெற்றது. இப்படத்தின் இசைதட்டை தமிழ் நாடு தயாரிப்பாளர் சங்கத் தலைவரும் மற்றும் தென்னிந்திய நடிகர் சங்கத்தின் பொதுச்செயலாளர் விஷால் அவர்கள் வெளியிட நடிகர் சிவராஜ்குமார் இசை தட்டை பெற்றுக்கொள்வதற்கான நிகழ்ச்சி ஏற்பாடு செய்யப்பட்டிருந்தது. சிவராஜ்குமார் அவர்கள் அவசரமாக வெளியூர் பயணம் சென்றதால் கலந்து கொள்ள இயலாத சூழல் ஏற்பட்டது.

விஷால், திட்டமிட்டப்படி விழாவுக்கு சென்றார். பெங்களூர் நெரிசலால் விஷால் வர காலதாமதமானதால், முன்னதாக அவ்விழாவில் கலந்து கொண்ட சில கன்னட அமைப்பைச் சேர்ந்தவர்கள் தமிழர்களைப் பற்றி காரசாரமாக பேசினார்கள்.

"தயாரிப்பாளர் சங்கத் தலைவர் விஷால் தமிழ்நாட்டிலிருந்து வந்து கலந்து கொண்டுள்ளார். அவருக்கு மரியாதை கொடுக்க வேண்டும். அதே வேளையில், தமிழகத்துக்கு தண்ணீர் தர மாட்டோம் என்று கூறவில்லை. எங்களுக்கே தண்ணீர் இல்லை" என்று தங்களுடைய பேச்சில் குறிப்பிட்டார்கள்.

அதனை தொடந்து இவ்விழாவில் விஷால் பேசும் போது, "உடல் மண்ணுக்கு... உயிர் தமிழுக்கு. என்றுகூறி போக்குவரத்து நெரிசலால் இங்கு வருவதற்கு காலதாமதமாகிவிட்டது. கன்னட படத்தின் இசை வெளியீட்டு விழாவாக இருந்தாலும், தாய்மொழியான தமிழில் பேசுவதில் தமிழனாக பெருமையடைகிறேன்.

தமிழில் தான் பேசுவேன். தவறாக எண்ண வேண்டாம். தண்ணீர் கேட்பது என்பது தமிழர்களுடைய உரிமை. அதனை யாரும் இல்லை என்று சொல்ல முடியாது.

நாம் அனைவரும் இந்தியாவில் இருக்கிறோம். எங்களுடைய உரிமையைக் கேட்கிறோம், அதை தவறு என்று எவராலும் சொல்ல முடியாது. அதே வேளையில், கர்நாடகாவிலும் தமிழர்கள் வாழ்கிறார்கள். அவர்களுக்கு பாதுகாப்பு அளிப்பது உங்களுடைய கடமை. அதேபோல் தமிழகத்திலும் கர்நாடக மக்கள் வாழ்கிறார்கள். அவர்களுக்கு பாதுகாப்பு அளிப்பது எங்களுடைய கடமை. மொத்தத்தில் அனைவருமே இந்தியர்கள். வெவ்வேறு மாநிலம் என்று பார்ப்பது அவசியமற்றது.இந்தியா என்று வரும் போது அனைவருமே ஒன்று தான். அனைவருக்கும் அனைத்து உரிமைகளும் உண்டு. ஏன் தமிழர்கள் என ஒதுக்கி, தண்ணீர் தர மாட்டோம் என்கிறீர்கள். கர்நாடகாவுக்கு மட்டுமே தண்ணீர் என்று கிடையாது. எங்களுக்கும் உரிமையிருப்பதால் கேட்கிறோம். தண்ணீர் கேட்கக்கூடாது என்று சொல்ல யாருக்கும் உரிமையில்லை. கர்நாடகாவிலிருந்து எந்தவொரு தயாரிப்பாளரும் தமிழகத்துக்கு வந்து படம் தயாரித்தால், தயாரிப்பாளர் சங்கம் சார்பில் முழு ஒத்துழைப்பு அளிப்போம். கர்நாடக தயாரிப்பாளர் சங்கத்திலும் ஏதேனும் உதவிகள் தேவைப்பட்டால் கண்டிப்பாக செய்து தர தயாராக இருக்கிறோம்" என்று பேசினார் விஷால்.

இதுவரை தமிழகத்திலிருந்து கர்நாடகாவுக்கு சென்ற எவரும் இது மாதிரி பேசியதில்லை. விஷாலின் வெளிப்படையான பேச்சால், இசை வெளியீட்டு விழாவில் கலந்து கொண்டவர்கள் அதிர்ச்சியடைந்தார்கள். நிழச்சி முடித்தபின் புனித்ராஜ்குமார் அவருடைய வீட்டிற்கு சென்று மறைந்த அவருடைய தாயார் படத்திற்கு விஷால் மலர் துவி மரியாதை செலுத்தினார்

அவருடைய இந்தப்பேச்சில் தல,தளபதி,சூப்பர்ஸ்டார் ,அரசியல்வாதிகள் என பலரும் ஆடிப்போயிருக்கிறார்கள் மொத்த கோலிவுட்டும்.

Yaanum Theeyavan is an action crime film written and directed by debut director Prashanth G Sekar. The film is based on a number of true events collectively. Prashanth G Sekar is a former assistant director of Director Hari in Singam II and Director Vignesh Shivan in the film Podaa Podi. The casting of the movie includes Ashwin Jerome who is a trained actor, Varsha and Raju Sundaram in primary roles. The Cinematography of the movie is done by Shreyaas Krishna who also did it for Jil Jung Juk. Music is taken care of by the ace music director Achu Rajamani. This movie is touted to be an Action Thriller and is expected to hit the screens by June 2017.

This movie claims to represent a number of true events that have actually happened. Put together under one shell with imaginative screenplay and characters, the story revolves around 3 primary characters Michael (Ashwin Jerome), Soumya(Varsha) and Pasupathy(Raju Sundaram). The plot forms around how these 3 characters meet and what happens after their meeting. However the complete plot will be known only after the release of the movie.

Michael (Ashwin Jerome) and Sowmya (Varsha Bollamma) are college mates turned lovers. As Sowmya's father arrange for her higher studies and marriage with a relative in Netherlands. she elopes with Mike and the couple enter wedlock with the help of their friends.

When they are about to start a fresh life they get caught by the ruthless serial killer Pasupathy (Raju Sundaram) and his associates who take them as his hostages and start torturing the young couple. This is because Sowmya has accidentally witnessed a murder committed by Pasupathy and also because Mike has severely attacked and caused injuries to Pasupathy and his men when they intimidate and harass his lover while they were on a night out.

Pasupathy tops the list of most wanted criminals but the police could not arrest him because there is no proof for any of the murders he has committed and also because he is the loyal henchman of a minister Sethuramalingam (Santhanabharathi).

A Police inspector Jayaprakash (Ponvannan) who is about to retire in six months time vows to arrest or kill Pasupathy before his service ends.

Adhagappattathu Magajanangalay is an upcoming Indian Tamil comedy thriller film written and directed by Inbasekhar. The film features newcomers Umapathi and Reshma Rathore in the lead roles, while Karunakaran, Pandiarajan, Manobala, Yog Japee, Yuvina Parthavi and Aadukalam Naren plays supporting roles. Featuring music composed by D. Imman, the film began production in early 2015.

The hero Umapathi plays a Guitarist. A different incident he encounters in his life and the changes that happen due to that forms the screenplay of the film. The makers assure that the film will be easily connected to the audience.

D.Imman has rendered the music score while Yugabharathy has written the lyrics for all the songs. P.K.Varma has handled the cinematography. G.Madhan has taken care of Editing. The film has been written and directed by R.Inbasekar and produced by Sivararameshkumar under Silver Screen Studios banner.

Ivan Thanthiran Movie Review | Ivan Thanthiran Review | Gautham Karthik, Shraddha Srinath, RJ Balaji, Thaman

Ivan Thanthiran is an action-romance film written and directed by R. Kannan. The film features Gautham Karthik and Shraddha Srinath in the lead roles, RJ Balaji, Super Subbarayan, Stunt Silva, Bharth Reddy, Mayilsamy, Madhan Bob, Sri Vignesh plays a supporting roles, while S. Thaman composes the film's music. The venture began production in August 2016.

The plot revolves around how an engineering dropout (Gautham Karthik), gifted with reverse engineering know-hows, brings down a corrupt and highly influential education minister (played by Super Subbarayan).

Sakthi (Gautham Karthik) and his friend Balaji (RJ Balaji) are Engineering graduates who run a business of their own by functioning as Reverse Engineers who copy and create duplicates of original products and are also experts in repairing electronic equipment.

Sakthi being a technocrat creates a video evidence to prove the corrupt means of the Union Human Resource Development Minister Devaraj (Super Subbarayan) who extracts huge bribe money from private engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu, which in turn affects the poor and middle class students in the form of sudden extra fees, charged by the colleges to pay bribe to the minister.

He uploads the video in social media and that results in a mass student uprising against the minister. The ruling party suspends Devaraj from the minister post and he has to face an inquiry commission and prove his innocence to get back his post.

Devaraj starts a search operation to find out Sakthi and kill him and he also does everything to erase the evidences against him. What happens to Sakthi's campaign against Devaraj and how does he safeguard himself from the powerful and corrupt politician forms the rest of the film.

Gautham Karthik has certainly improved as an actor. After ‘Rangoon’, he once again delivers a satisfying performance here, holding his labored expressions in check, Shraddha Srinath gets a play a decent debut lead heroine role, if not a meaty character.

வந்தாரை வாழவைக்கும் தமிழகம் என்பது சாதாரண வழக்குமொழி அல்ல, அது எவ்வளவு உண்மை என்பதற்கு சாட்சியாக பல கதைகள் உண்டு. தமிழக மக்களுக்கு ஒருவரை பிடித்து விட்டால், அவரை தலையில் வைத்துக் கொண்டாடுவர், அதற்கு சமீபத்திய உதாரணம் ஜூலியானா. இந்த ஆண்டின் ஆரம்பத்தில் நடந்த ஜல்லிக்கட்டு போராட்டத்தில், அரசியல் தலைவர்களுக்கு எதிராக குரல் கொடுத்து கூவியது சில செல்போன் கேமராக்கள் மூலம் வைரல் ஹிட் ஆனது. போராட்டம் முடியும் வரை வாட்ஸாப்பில் தினம் தினம் ஜூலியின் வெவ்வேறு கோஷங்கள் வந்து கலக்கின.

சில நாட்களில் பிரபலமான ஜூலியை பற்றி பல்வேறு தவறான தகவல்களும், அவதூறுகளும் வெளியாகாமல் இல்லை. ஏதோ ஒரு வாட்ஸாப் கதாசிரியர் ஜூலியை ஆளும்கட்சி ஆட்கள் கொன்று விட்டதாக கிளப்பி விட்ட கதையையும் பல லட்சம் பேர் ஷேர் செய்தனர். உண்மையில், இதை எல்லாம் படித்துவிட்டு கேலி சிரிப்போடு தன்னுடைய நர்ஸ் வேலையை தொடர்ந்து கொண்டிருந்தார் ஜூலி. அதன் பின்னர், மக்களுக்கு அரசியல் அதிரடிகளால் தினம் தினம் பொழுதுபோக்கு கிடைக்க கிட்டத்தட்ட ஜூலியை மக்கள் மறந்தே போயினர்.

இந்நிலையில், நடிகர் கமலஹாசன் விஜய் டிவியில் இந்தியில் பெரும் வரவேற்பையும், பரபரப்பையும் கிளப்பிய பிக் பாஸின் தமிழ் பாதிப்பை தொகுத்து வழங்க ஆரம்பித்த தமிழ் பிக் பாஸ் நிகழ்ச்சியில் யாரும் எதிர்பாராத வண்ணம் என்ட்ரி கொடுத்தார் ஜூலி. அது முதலே பிசியாகி விட்டனர் மீம் கிரியேட்டர்கள். அந்நிகழ்ச்சியில் ஜூலி என செய்தாலும், பேசினாலும் உடனே சுடச்ச்சுட மீம்கள் குவிகின்றன. இந்த ரெஸ்பான்ஸை எதிர்பார்த்தே ஜூலியை இந்நிகழ்ச்சியில் சேர்த்தது விஜய் டிவி. ஜூலியுடன் பிக் பாஸ் வீட்டில் தங்கி இருக்கும் பிரபலங்கள் பலரும் ஜூலியை தங்களுக்கு ஆபத்தானவராகவே பார்ப்பது தான் ஆச்சர்யம்.

பிக் பாஸ் நிகழ்ச்சியில், ஜல்லிக்கட்டுப் போராளி, வீரத் தமிழச்சி என்று இதே சமூக ஊடகர்களால் புகழ்ந்து தள்ளப்பட்ட ஜுலி, தன்னைக் கட்டிப்பிடிக்க அதாவது Hug செய்ய ஆளில்லை என்று சொன்னதாகவும் அதனால் அந்த வீரத்தமிழச்சி மானம் மல்லாந்து விட்டதாக, அதே சமூக ஊடகவியலாளர்கள் விமர்சிக்கத் தொடங்கியிருக்கிறார்கள். 'தனக்கு தெரிந்தவர்கள் யாரும் இல்லை' என்ற தொனியில் அவர் சொன்னதை அருவருக்கத் தக்க வகையில் மீம் போட்டு கலாய்த்து வருகின்றனர். ஆனாலும், இவை எல்லாமே ஜூலியின் பாப்புலாரிட்டியை அதிகப்படுத்தி அவரை போட்டியில் நீடிக்கவே செய்ய உதவும்.

நாடு முழுவதும் ஒரே வரிவிதிப்பு கொள்கையின் முடிவாக ஜூலை 1 ஆம் தேதிமுதல் GST வரி அமல்படுத்தப்படுகிறது. இதன் விளைவாக சில பொருட்களின் விலையில் ஏற்றமும் சில பொருட்களின் விலையில் இறக்கமும் ஏற்படும் சூழ்நிலை ஏற்பட்டுள்ளது. இதில் திரைத்துறைக்கு 28% விதிக்கப்பட்டு அவர்களின் எதிர்ப்பிற்கு பின்னர் 18% குறைக்கப்பட்டது. இந்த வரிவிதிப்பு குறித்து திரையரங்க உரிமையாளர்களின் ஆலோசனை கூட்டம் நடைப்பெற்றது. முன்னணி திரையரங்க உரிமையாளர்கள் கலந்து கொண்ட இந்தகூட்டத்தில் சினிமா டிக்கெட் விலையை ஏற்ற முடிவு செய்துள்ளனர்.

ஜூலை 1ஆம் தேதியிலிருந்து 100 ரூபாய்க்கு விற்கப்பட்ட சினிமா டிக்கெட் 120 விற்க முடிவு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது. அதேபோல் 120 ரூபாய்க்கு விற்கப்பட்ட சினிமா டிக்கெட் 153 ரூபாய்க்கு விற்கப்பட உள்ளது. இந்த விலையேற்றம் உடனடியாக அமலுக்கு வருவதாக அறிவித்தனர். இதுவரையில் தமிழக அரசின் நிலைப்பாடு தெரியாத நிலையில் ஏற்கனவே செலுத்தும் நகராட்சி வரி 30% சேர்த்தால் சினிமா டிக்கெட் பன்மடங்கு உயரும். இதன் மூலம் பல தியேட்டர்கள் மூடப்படும் அபாயமும் உள்ளதாகவும்

அண்டை மாநிலங்களில் நகராட்சி வரியை ரத்து செய்து ஜிஎஸ்டி வரி மட்டுமே விதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. அதைப்போலவே தமிழக அரசும் முன்வர வேண்டும் என்று திரையரங்க உரிமையாளர்கள் வேன்டுகோள் விடுத்துள்ளனர்.

முதன் முறையாக 3Dகேமிராவில் ஒளிப்பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டு 3D தொழில் நுட்பத்தில் வெளியாகும் 2.0 படம் குறித்து ‘லைக்கா’ நிறுவனம் திரையரங்கு உரிமையாளர்களுக்கு 3D தொழில்நுட்பத்தை தெளிவுபடுத்த கருத்தரங்கு ஒன்றை ஜூலை 5 ஆம் தேதி, சென்னை கிண்டி ஐடிசி கிராண்ட் சோழா ஹோட்டலில் நடத்துகிறது.
