Simtaangaran Song Massive Records for Thalapathy Vijay | Simtaangaran Official Video | Sarkar Breaking Records
The first song from Vijay's Sarkar has been unveiled today. Within ten minutes of its launch, the song touched about 3 lakh views on YouTube.
Music composer AR Rahman has churned out a unique number called Simtaangaran. Lately, the maestro has been experimenting with his mainstream music. He tried out something new in Chekka Chivantha Vaanam album and for Sarkar, the composer has gone full throttle with his experimentation.
The song is not racy - something that is expected of Vijay's albums - but it is joyful and has a good and catchy rhythm.
The official Twitter handle of Sun Pictures, the production house of Sarkar, released the single.
Sarkar, directed by AR Murugadoss, marks his third collaboration with Vijay. They have earlier worked in Kaththi and Thuppakki together, which turned out to be blockbusters.
Sarkar stars Keerthy Suresh and Vijayalaxmi in the female lead roles. Radha Ravi and politician Pala Karuppiah have been roped in to play the antagonists.
