Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha starrer 96 was one
of the successful movies of 2018, and the movie which marked the debut of
director Premkumar had received rave reviews and completed 100 days of
theatrical run despite being telecast on TV within 35 days.
The movie completed its 100th day on Pongal eve, and
yesterday, the team of 96 Celebrated the
100th day of the movie in Chennai and director Cheran, social activist
Thirumurugan Gandhi, Samuthirakani were among the special guests at the grand
event.
During the event, host R.Parthiepan quoted that throughout
the movie, Ram and Jaanu kept the audience waiting to see if they'll hug
atleast once but never did it, and
invited Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha on stage, requesting them to hug,
and after obliging his request, Vijay Sethupathi termed it as the climax of 96, as the crowd gathered
applauded.
