Amy Jackson, popular for her roles in films like Singh is Bliing, Freaky Ali, has finally made her debut in the TV series, Supergirl. An announcement about the actress joining the cast as a recurring character was made earlier this year. And finally, in the 7th episode, we are introduced to Amy’s character, Imra Ardeen, on the show. Her character is a huge blow to Supergirl aka Kara. Spoilers ahead! Read at your own risk…
If you are following Supergirl, you must know that the love of Kara’s life, Mon-El, went missing 7 months ago. Well, he is back but with a huge twist. Mon-El, after being sucked into a wormhole in the last season, travelled to the future, and due to time relativity difference of years, it’s been only 7 months for Kara, but 7 long years for Mon-El. Well, now he is back to the past but has brought along Imra Adeen, played by Amy, with him. And they are married. Yes, Amy will be playing the reason why Supergirl can’t be with Mon-El. We can’t wait to see this drama unfold.
That is not all…Amy’s arrival on the show marks the bigger story arc. Her character is an inhabitant of Saturn’s moon, Titan, and possesses superpowers. She will take up the persona of Saturn Girl on the show that will set the events of Legion of Super-Heroes in motion.
