Kalakalappu 2 is a 2018 Indian Tamil-language comedy film written and directed by Sundar C and produced by Kushboo. Despite the title, it is not a sequel to the 2012 film Kalakalappu, but a spiritual successor. The film features Jiiva, Jai, Shiva, Catherine Tresa and Nikki Galrani in the lead roles. After being in pre-production since 2012, the film began production in October 2017 and progressed in locations including Varanasi and Karaikudi. The film was released worldwide on 9 February 2018.
