Once again, Superstar Mahesh Babu has proved that he is the
king of overseas. His latest film Bharat
Ane Nenu, which was released on 20th April, is on its way to breaking records.
After delivering back to back duds
with Brahmotsavam and Spyder, Mahesh Babu is back at the top with the success
of his political drama Bharat Ane Nenu,
directed by Srimanthudu fame Koratala Siva.
Kiara Advani is playing the female lead. The movie has already crossed
$2 million marks at USA Box office.
The Industry tracker Jeevi wrote on the wall of Twitter, “#BarathAneNenu
USA hourly gross at 9 pm PST on Saturday is $596,873 from 242 USA locations
with per location average of $2,577. And crosses $2 MILLION mark in USA on
Saturday itself! Excellent @ThisIsDSP @Advani_Kiara @urstrulyMahesh.”
Bharat Ane Nenu has taken over Young Tiger Jr.NTR’s Nannaku Prematho, Pawan
Kalyan’s Attarintiki Daredi and Varun Tej & Sai Pallavi’s Fidaa to position
itself at the 7th place among the all-time highest grossing Telugu movies in
the US list.Now the movie is targeting Mega star Chiranjeevi’s Khaidi No 160,
Nithiin’s A..Aa and Srimanthudu.
After Young Rebel star Prabhas (Baahubali:The Conclusion, Baahubali:The Beginning),
Mahesh is one of the star in Tollywood who scored two $2 Million movies. Mahesh’s
blockbuster movie Srimanthudu has earned $ 2.89M at US Box office.It is
expected that BAN will crush the record of Ram Charan and Samantha Akkineni’s
Rangasthalam very soon, which has earned $3.4 Million at USA Box office.
