In his recent Facebook chat with fans, Karthi has opened up on a lot of things including his possible collaboration with his brother Suriya. Talking about Vijay, the actor said: “I know Vijay sir from college days, still remember his personal phone call and appreciation for Paruthiveeran. Recently, he appreciated my film saying ‘Super-ah irukku ya’, didn’t expect it from him”.
When a fan asked about his relationship with Ajith, Karthi said: “Ajith sir makes sure to always ask about my family, we share a very good rapport”. On joining hands with his brother Suriya, Karthi said: “My Kadai Kutty Singam director Pandiraj told us that he would write a script featuring my brother and me in the lead, we are waiting for it. I also have plans to director my brother in the future”. At the recent press meet in Hyderabad, Karthi said that Pandiraj has projected farming as a celebration and not as a tedious task in Kadai Kutty Singam. Talking about his upcoming film ‘Dev’ with Rakul Preet Singh, the actor said that it will be a stylish romantic action film like Paiyaa.
