Dona Sankar is an Indian actress, who is working in Malayalam film and television industry. She was born on 19th December in Manjeri, Malappuram. Dona made her acting debut in the Malayalam film “To Let Ambadi Talkies” along with Mukesh, directed by Sakkir Madathil. She also acted with well known actors like Kalabhavan Mani, Nedumudi Venu, Thirumurugan and Muthukumaraswamy. She has appeared in some well-known short films such as Bride Wanted, Musthaffa, Kannadikavil, Niranjan and Gods Own.
Her performances in many films were lauded especially in “Alif” which was one of the Best films of the year 2015. She worked with some of the top names of that time like Dona in “Pei Ellam Pavam” along with Arasu, Appukutty and Sreejith Ravi. Dona Sankar currently doing the supporting role in Kalyana Veedu serial along with Pop Suresh in Sun TV.
