Kollywood actress Riyamikka,26, was found hanging from the
roof of her room in her Sridevi Kuppam residence in Chennai on late Wednesday
evening. The reason for her death is not known yet, and the police have not
found any death note.
Riyamikka has acted in movies including Kundrathile
Kumaranuku Kondattam and Aghori-yin Attam Aarambam. It is also said that
Riyamikka was sad that she was not getting roles in movies.
Riyamikka was living in the Sridevi Kuppam residence with
her brother Praveen since four months. Praveen had last seen her on Tuesday
night. But on Wednesday evening, her phone was not reachable and then Praveen
entered the house with Riymikka's alleged boyfriend Dinesh. As nobody opened
the door, Praveen used the spare key and entered inside to see his sister hung
to death.
Valasaravakkam police have filed a case under CrPC Section
174 (unnatural death)and shifted the mortal remains to Royapettah Government
Hospital for autopsy.
