Priyanka Rao made her acting debut in the Telugu film Andari Bandhuvaya in 2010, Directed by Chandra Siddhartha. She has appeared in well known films includes Identi Govinda, Naa Swami Ranga, Welcome To America and Kanchana 3.

She appeared in Many Telugu TV shows includes Sye Sye Sayyare, Kirrak Kids, Babaii Hotel, Star Mahila and Shiridi Sai Katha.

She Made her acting debut in Television with Telugu serial Meghamaala in 2014. She is currently doing the lead role in Tamil Serial Roja on Sun TV along with Venkat Renganathan, Sibbu Suryan and Smriti Kashyap.
