We had earlier reported that actor Sivakarthikeyan and director M Rajesh are coming together for a Tamil film, which will be bankrolled by Studio Green. The latest buzz is that actress Nayanthara is being considered for playing the leading lady in the yet-untitled film. Though nothing has been finalised yet, it looks like the talks have begun on both sides.

If reports are to be believed, this will be Nayanthara’s second collaboration with Sivakarthikeyan after ‘Velaikkaran’, which was directed by Mohan Raja. It must be noted that ‘Velaikkaran’ opened to good reviews last year and became successful at the box-office.

Meanwhile, Nayanthara is currently busy with the ambitious Telugu film ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’, in which she has been paired opposite megastar Chiranjeevi. She also awaits the release of the action-thriller ‘Imaikka Nodigal’, directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu.

On the other hand, Sivakarthikeyan will be next seen in ‘Seema Raja’, which is directed by Ponram of ‘Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam’ fame. The film stars Samantha Akkineni as the female lead and has music by D Imman. Touted to be a rural comedy, ‘Seema Raja’ is slated to release this year.

Sivakarthikeyan also awaits the release of his maiden film as a producer, which is being helmed by Arunraja Kamaraj.
