There was a rumor on the internet saying that Varalakshmi has secretly engaged and she will be soon getting married.

Refuting all the rumors, the talented actress tweeted "Thr r some rumours in the industry that I’m going to get married..I AM NOT ENGAGED N NOT GETTING MARRIED.. thank you to the jobless people who spread these baseless rumours to try n bring me down.. you can’t..I’m here to only work and act..my hard work will never fail..#lovemyjob”.

Varalakshmi is currently busy with the Telugu dubbing of her most anticipated Diwali release ‘Sarkar’ starring Thalapathy Vijay. The actress is also all set to make her debut in small screen with a reality show ‘Unnai Arindhaal’ in Jaya TV. Besides Sarkar, Varalakshmi also has Sandakozhi 2, Neeya 2, Maari 2, Katteri, Velvet Nagaram, and Shakthi. Among all these films, Sandakozhi 2 will first hit the screens on October 18 and Sarkar will be releasing for Diwali.
