Popular actor Saravanan went to his native place Salem to celebrate Diwali but on the festive day itself had high fever and had to be admitted at a private hospital.  During clinical investigations, the 'Paruthi Veeran' actor tested positive for initial stages of swine flu and as the fever became sever has been shifted to Chennai hospital.

Saravanan who is recovering from the dangerous flu sounded upbeat as he spoke to newsmen that he is confident of making a return on screen soon.  The veteran had a good outing in this year's biggest blockbuster hit 'Kadaikutty Singam' starring Karthi and produced by Suriya.
