Thalapathy Vijay was last seen in Sarkar and is currently busy with his next tentatively referred to as Thalapathy 63, directed by Atlee after Mersal and Theri. With the shoot progressing in various locations in  Chennai and schedules planned abroad as well, here's an interesting update on the biggie.

As per sources, the movie will have Vijay and Kathir playing best friends who become football coaches, and in an unexpected turn of events, Kathir gets killed. How Vijay finds the killers and takes revenge besides also making Kathir's football team emerge successful is the plot of Thalapathy 63.

While this is just a speculation over the plot, if this is going to be the premise of the movie, it will sure be an interesting mass feast for fans seeing Vijay as a coach with a revenge mission. The movie will feature Lady Superstar Nayanthara in a bubbly role, and Yogi Babu will take care of humour. Daniel Balaji and another actor who is yet to be finalized will play the antagonists, and the movie will also expose the  politics in sports,  just like Mersal's political angle.  Thalapathy 63 produced by AGS Entertainment is expected to be a powerful sports film racier than Ghilli.
