Popular producer Gnanavel Raja has
moved Tamil Film Producers Council to get back his 10 crores from Kamal Haasan.
In his complaint, the producer said
that Kamal Haasan had borrowed Rs 10 crores during the financial tussle of
‘Uttama Villain’ and promised him that he would be acting and directing a film
within a budget of 40 crores(including the borrowed 10 crore rupees) for Studio
Green.
But as Kamal didn’t show any interest
in commencing the proposed film, Gnanavel has now moved Tamil Film Producers
Council to get back his 10 crores. Kamal is currently busy shooting for
Shankar’s Indian 2 and he is also soon
expected to kick start the shoot of his directorial film ‘Thalaivan Irukkindran’
for Lyca Productions.
J Satish Kumar who is spearheading
TFPC says that he has received the complaint from Gnanavel and will soon look
into the matter.
