Reliable
sources in the industry tell us that Dhanush’s commercial action potboiler
‘Pattas’ is likely to release for Pongal 2020. Interestingly, Dhanush’s
father-in-law Superstar Rajinikanth’s ‘Darbar’ is also scheduled to release for
the Pongal holiday weekend.

Lyca, director AR Murugadoss has successfully wrapped up the shoot of ‘Darbar’
last month. Murugadoss and his team are currently with the post-production
works and they are quite confident of releasing the film for Pongal holidays.
Directed by
Durai Senthilkumar of ‘Kodi’ fame, Sathya Jyothi Films is producing ‘Pattas’ in
which Dhanush is said to be playing a dual role. As Dhanush has returned back
from London after wrapping his gangster thriller with Karthik Subbaraj, he is
expected to resume shooting for ‘Pattas’ from this month.
It is worth
mentioning that Sathya Jyothi Films released their production venture
‘Viswasam’ opposite Rajinikanth's Petta earlier this year for Pongal holidays.
