The latest Tamil film Kadavul Irukan Kumaru (There is a God, Kumar) is a romantic comedy which surprisingly has known faces belonging to other genres. Such as the lead actor G.V. Prakash Kumar who is essaying the character of Kumar is a music director-turned-actor portrayed as a debutante with lots of expectation churning up. The actress is also a newbie with known faces like Prakash Raj giving us superb comic revises. Based on a storyline of romance and comedy, the central character Kumar is a troublemaker who always puts his friends and even foes in deep trouble. His best friends always in a rescue mode wherein the lead falls prey to goons, police officers, false public, and Don. The road journey which he takes with a friend becomes a roller coaster ride where he confronts reality in a TV show along with his lady love and friend. The film’s plot revolves around the central character and all the nuisance he creates throughout the film.
The respective film’s direction has a good hold over the plot with the tremendous acting performance put in by the lead actor. The supporting cast has equally justified the roles with eminent actor Prakash Raj giving a pretty good amount of weight to the film. Kumar as the lead cast as well as Music composer has done a remarkable job thus giving us a reason to watch the film. The direction is equally good, no doubt, with keeping all the threads attached to a single note which helps the audiences to not to distract even for a minute. So, with a tremendously rib-tickling presentation, Kadavul Irukan Kumaru is a Must Watch, if you are going through the bad day, rough day or any other day, this particular Tamil film is a good way to go for this weekend.
