It looks like popular television anchor Divyadarshini aka DD has decided to take up acting seriously. After doing a cameo in Dhanush's directorial debut Pa Paandi, DD will be seen in a full-fledged role in Dhruva Natchathiram, starring Vikram in the lead. However, the details of her role are yet to be divulged. Directed by Gautham Menon, the film stars Vikram in the lead. R Parthiban and Aishwarya Rajesh also play important roles. It has to be recalled that before turning a VJ, DD had acted in television serials and also in films such as Madhavan-starrer Nala Damayanti. DD also anchors the show Anbudan DD on Vijay TV.
