Thananya is an Indian film actress who entered the film industry through her debut movie Kungama Poovum Konjum Puravum. She was pursuing her degree in medicine and was third year student at that time and so after this film, took a short break to complete her course.
Her father’s name is Dr. Sudhakar and her mother’s name is Dr. Vijayalakshmi. She belongs to an affluent family and her parents are also doctors and they did not favor her performance in the film industry especially in the middle of her studies. However, she took leave for a month and completed the film. She has one brother. She was originally interested in modeling and getting an offer in the film was a pleasant surprise for her.
When she was working as a house surgeon, she got the offer to act in the film Veyilodu Vilayadu. She reentered through the film Veyilodu Vilayadu which was centered on the games of Kabaddi, cricket and football. This film was successful and got her good name. This film was about a young person interested in volleyball which took him to the pinnacle of glory. The real life volleyball champion Magesh played the lead role in this film.
