Actor Simbu,
who always finds himself at the centre of a controversy, has opened up about
the wedding rumours that are going viral on social media. In a press statement,
the actor has opened up about the speculations about his personal and
professional lives.
A few days
ago, his younger brother Kuralarsan tied the knot with his girlfriend Nabeelah
R Ahmed in a low-key affair. Post the wedding all eyes were on Simbu and
speculations about his wedding started making rounds on social media. But the
Manmadan actor has said that he has no such plans.
In addition to
that, Simbu also commented upon the rumours about his future films. STR stated
that he has meetings with several directors but not all the discussions end up
as projects.
Simbu was last
seen in the film Vantha Rajavathaan Varuven, which was a Tamil remake of Pawan
Kalyan's film Attarintiki Daredi. The film has Ramya Krishnan, Catherine Tresa
and Nassar in lead roles. Simbu was paired opposite Megha Akash in the film.
The movie turned out to be a flop and received bad reviews.
Simbu will
next be seen in Venkat Prabhu's Maanadu, which has created huge anticipation
among Simbu fans. Venkat Prabhu and Simbu were supposed to team up for a long
time now, and the project has finally taken off.
