Kavin (AKA) Vettaiyan Kavin is a Tamil television presenter and actor who was born in Trichy, Tamilnadu. He is one of the Contestant to enter into Bigg Boss house season 3 (Tamil) along with other 14 contestants, this show hosted by Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan and aired in Star Vijay television.

Kavin appeared in the third sequel of the Kana Kaanum Kaalangal serial as Shiva. Later he was approached to play the main lead in its sequel Saravanan Meenatchi (season 2). His role as Vettaiyan also called as Saravana Perumal is a breakthrough point of his career which made him familiar among the audience. He also played a cameo role in the film called Indru Netru Naalai.
