Vadivelu Latest Controversy
Vadivelu is
one actor who has one of the widest fan following even though he has not acted
in any film for the past couple of years.
His recent feud with director Shankar regarding the production of 'Imsai
Arasan 24 aam Pulikesi' made headlines.
Vadivelu is once again in trouble as Sathishkumar the producer of the
2015 flop 'Eli' has lodged a complaint that the actor's assistant Manikandan
and three others entered one of his house properties in Madurai and caused
extensive damages It was further alleged
that the men also physically injured his employee Govindaraj.
The Madurai
police have filed cases under four section including threat and assault and are
in search of Manikandan and others after proof of their crime was captured on
the CCTV footage in the house. It was
said that Vadivelu is absconding after the incident but the ace comedian has
clarified that he went to his ancestral temple along with family and counter
alleged that Sathishkumar is trying to disrupt his plans to act in movies again
and it's all a conspiracy by people against him.
Sathishkumar
has said that during the production of 'Eli' Vadivelu interfered in all aspects
of filming including makeup and other issues and caused a loss of rupees
fourteen crores and a case is pending in the courts regarding the same. He also pointed out that the same issue has
been raised by many other producers including Shankar and a red card has been
issued against Vadivelu.
