Aval is an upcoming Indian horror film co-written and directed by Milind Rau. The film stars Siddharth and Andrea Jeremiah in lead roles, with Siddharth also working on the film as a co-producer and a co-writer. Shot simultaneously in three languages, the film is titled The House Next Door in Hindi, Aval in Tamil and Gruham in Telugu. The film will be released in late 2017.
Siddharth is a doctor and Andrea his wife. The A newly-wed couple experiences strange incidents at their neighbourhood. They refuse to believe that supernatural powers are at play initially, but soon they realise that their new location is a haunted place. How the doctor tries to save the inhabitants of the house next door from evil spirits forms the crux of the story.
