Saira Khan, who replaced Bollywood
actress Sherlyn Chopra in Bollywood's one of the controversial films,
'Kamasutra 3D, which was released in 2013, passed away due to a cardiac arrest,
reports suggest.
The film was first screened at the
2013 Cannes Film Festival. However, the actress went unnoticed later.
The 'Kamasutra 3D' director,
reportedly, Rupesh Paul was in shock after he learnt about this news. He said
that it was more shocking when there was no update about her demise in the
newspapers or anywhere. According to him, Saira deserved to be recognised for
her performance. He further shared that despite of her brilliance she remained
unnoticed. which is more hurtful.
Rupesh went on to recall how it was
difficult for them to convince her do such a bold role. As Saira belonged to a
very conservative Muslim family and it was a task for her to sign such a bold
film after all the controversy it faced.
It is indeed shocking to know about
her sudden demise. May her soul rest in peace.
