Superstar Rajinikanth-Akshay Kumar starrer, Director Shankar's Endhiran 2.0 is not releasing for this Diwali as planned. Now the film is scheduled for release on Pongal i.e 14th Jan 2018, as VFX and post production is consuming lots of time. The makers dont want to hurry the film and want to get the perfect final product. So, Thalapathy 61 has suddenly jumped into Diwali release, which was initially scheduled to release in December.

Directed by Atlee after Theri, Ilayathalapathy Vijay will be seen playing triple roles while the film also has three heroines —Nithya Menon, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Kajal Aggarwal. SJ Suryah plays the baddie in the yet-untitled film, which has an ensemble of actors including Sathyaraj, Vadivelu and Sathyan playing important roles. Produced by Sri Thenandal Films, AR Rahman is composing the music for the film.

சூப்பர் ஸ்டார் ரஜினி மற்றும் அக்ஷய் குமார் இணைந்து நடிபில் ஷங்கர் இயக்கத்தில் தயாராகி வரும் எந்திரன் 2.0 படம் தீபாவளிக்கு ரிலீஸ் ஆகும் என்று அறிவிக்கப்பட்டு இருந்தது. ஆனால், தற்போது தீபாவளி ரிலீஸை விட்டு தள்ளிப் போயிருக்கிறது எந்திரன் 2.0. படத்தின் ஷூட்டிங் முழுமையாக முடிந்துவிட்டது, ஒரே ஒரு பாடல் மட்டும் தான் பாக்கி உள்ளது. போஸ்ட் புரொடக்ஷன் மற்றும் கிராபிக்ஸ் வேலைகள் முழு வேகத்தில் நடந்து வந்தாலும் வரும் தீபாவளிக்கும் அந்த வேலைகள் முடிய வாய்ப்பில்லையாம். எதிலும் பெர்பக்ஷனை எதிர்பார்க்கும் ஷங்கர், அவசரப்படாமல் நல்லபடியாக படத்தை முடித்து வெளியிட விரும்புகிறாராம். 

ஆகையால், தீபாவளி அன்று வெளியாக இருந்த  எந்திரன் 2.0 அடுத்தவருடம் பொங்கலுக்கு அதாவது ஜனவரி 14, 2018 அன்று வெளியாகும் என்று அறிவிக்கப்பட்டு உள்ளது. இதன் மூலம், நடிகர் விஜய் தற்போது நடித்து வரும் தளபதி61 படத்தை இந்த தீபாவளியே வெளியிட முடிவு செய்துள்ளார்களாம். எந்திரன் 2.0 ரிலீஸ் ஆகும் என்பதால் டிசம்பரில் வெளியாக இருந்த தளபதி61 படத்தை முன்கூட்டியே வெளியிட இருப்பதால், படத்தின் பணிகள் இன்னும் வேகம் எடுத்துள்ளன.

தெறி படத்திற்கு பிறகு, தளபதி61 மூலம் விஜயை இயக்கும் இயக்குனர் அட்லீ எப்படியாவது இந்த படம் தெறியை மிஞ்ச வேண்டும் என திட்டமிட்டுள்ளாராம்.  இந்த படத்தில் விஜய்க்கு ஜோடியாக நடிகைகள் நித்யா மேனன், சமந்தா மற்றும் காஜல் அகர்வால் ஆகியோர் நடிக்கின்றனர். படத்தின் வில்லனாக, எஸ்.ஜெ.சூர்யா மேலும் நடிகர் சத்யராஜ், வைகைப்புயல் வடிவேலு ஆகியோர் நடிக்கின்றனர். இசைப்புயல் ஏஆர் ரஹ்மான் இசை அமைக்கிறார்.
