Every time we think of on-screen romantic love stories, Jack and Rose from Titanic immediately come to my mind. When the movie first came out, many went and saw it four times in the theater. It was so hard not to get obsessed with it. One of the reasons we enjoyed watching it was because of the chemistry between Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet. All the time, fans got the feeling that it wasn’t only their characters that were in love with each other, Leo and Kate were meant to be together. They always had googly eyes when talking about each other, it made everything seem like they belonged together. But, unfortunately they have never made it past the friendship stage. So, what really happened? Why did they never break the rules? Kate reveals everything in an interview that made all of us heartbroken.

Even after Titanic was over, the two were still close with each other. They called each other “babe” and continued to support each other. When the actors reunited on screen to film Revolutionary Road and we still had hopes for them.But, hopes faded when Kate married Ned Rocknroll in 2012. The actress said that nothing happened between them because “there was never any romantic thing.” She continued by saying that he never really saw her in a romantic way.“He always saw me as one of the boys.”She says that she knows why everyone is upset: “It’s so disappointing for people to hear that, because in the soap opera of the Kate and Leo story we fell in love at first sight, but actually we never did.”

“We needed each other to lean on because we were very young and working all kinds of crazy [long] hours and it was a shock to the system.” Let’s at least hope they remain friends forever.

"எங்கள் இருவருக்கும் எப்போது ரொமான்ஸ் என்ற விஷயமே இருந்ததில்லை" என்கிறார் நடிகை கேட்.  லியோ எப்போதுமே என்னை ஒரு ஆண் நண்பர் போன்றே நடத்துவார். எங்கள்  இருவரையும் விரும்பும் ரசிகர்களுக்கு இது வேதனையாக தான் இருக்கும். பார்த்தவுடன் காதலில் விழும் அற்புதம் எங்கள் வாழ்வில் நிகழ்ந்ததே இல்லை. ஒருவருக்கொருவர் துணையாக எப்போதுமே நாங்கள் நல்ல நண்பர்களாகவே இருப்போம்" என்றும் கூறியுள்ளார் கேட்.  காதலர்களாக இல்லை  என்றாலும், நண்பர்களாகவே இவ்விருவருவரும் காலம் முழுக்க இருக்க வேண்டும் என்பதே நம்மை போன்ற ரசிகர்களின் ஆசை.
