Actor Dhanush has completed VIP2's shooting and working on Vada Chennai with Vetrimaran. His most awaited 'Maari 2' will go on the floors coming August. Balaji Mohan will helm 'Maari 2', and he recently got Dhanush to lock the final draft script of the film. In 'Maari', Dhanush played a dhoti-clad, moustache twirling don. The project will be produced by Dhanush's Wunderbar Films. 


Entire cast from the first part are expected to be retained. Robo Shankar and Vinod will play their original characters. The rest of the cast might be finalised in a few weeks," said a source from the film's unit. Composer Aniruth has scored the music for Maari, however Dhanush and him are not in good terms now. So we are yet to get information on who will score the music for Maari 2.

தனுஷ் இந்தப்படத்தில் அடிக்கடி பேசும் செஞ்சுருவேன் டயலாக்கிற்கு ரசிகர்கள் மத்தியில் செம வரவேற்பு கிடைத்தது. முதல்பாகத்தின் முடிவில் தனுஷ்-காஜல் உறவு வெறும் நட்பாகவே முடியும், இரண்டாம் பாகத்தில் அதை காதலுடன் சேர்த்து இன்னும் சில சுவாரஸ்யமான நிகழ்வுகளுடன் படத்தை எடுக்க இருப்பதாக கூறப்படுகிறது. மாரி படத்தில் பணியாற்றிய அதே குழுவே, மாரி இரண்டாம் பாகத்திலும் பணியாற்ற இருக்கிறார்கள். மாரி படத்தில் இசையமைப்பாளர் அனிருத் இசை அமைத்து இருந்தார். ஆனால், தனுஷுடன் மனக்கசப்பில் இருக்கிறார். ஆகையால், மாரி 2 படத்திற்கு யார் இசை அமைப்பார்கள் என்ற விவரங்கள் தெரியவில்லை.
