Dhanush to fly Belgium for his first Hollywood movie

Actor Dhanush is all set to make his debut in Hollywood with the movie 'The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir'. While Iranian-French director Marjane Satrapi (of Persepolis fame) was earlier in talks to direct the film, the latest is that the film will be helmed by Ken Scott, who directed the popular Hollywood film 'Delivery Man'.

Dhanush will be travelling to Brussels, the capital of Belgium. The comic adventure features Dhanush as Ajatashatru, a conjurer from a forgotten Indian colony of artists, who is sent to Paris by his mother on a secret mission. He will be sharing screen space with 'The Artist' actress Berenice Bejo, Erin Moriarty, and Barkhad Abdi of 'Captain Phillips' fame. Another Indian actor who is also in the film is Seema Biswas, known for her roles in 'Bandit Queen' and 'Company'.

நடிகர் தனுஷ் ஹாலிவுட் படத்தில் கமிட் ஆகி இருப்பது நமக்கெல்லாம் நன்றாகவே தெரியும். ஆனால், அந்த ஹாலிவுட் படத்தின் ஷூட்டிங் எப்போது என்று அனைவரும் எதிர்பார்த்திருந்தனர். 'தி எக்ஸ்டிரானரி ஜர்னி ஆஃப் ஃபாகிர்' என்று பெயரிடப்பட்டுள்ள அந்த படத்தினை ஈரானிய - பிரெஞ்சு இயக்குனர் மர்ஜேன் சட்ராபி இயக்குவதாக இருந்தது. ஆனால், சில பல காரணங்களால் படத்தில் இருந்து அவர் விலகியதால் 'டெலிவரி மேன்' படத்தை இயக்கி புகழடைந்த கென் ஸ்காட் இயக்க உள்ளார். அதன் காரணமாகவே இப்படத்தின் ஷூட்டிங் தள்ளிப் போய்க்கொண்டே இருந்தன.

தற்போது,  படத்தின் ஷூட்டிங்கிற்காக பெல்ஜிய நாட்டு தலைநகர் பிரஸ்ஸல்ஸ் செல்ல இருக்கிறார் நடிகர் தனுஷ். முதல் கட்ட ஷெட்யூலில், தனுஷுடன், 'தி ஆர்ட்டிஸ்ட்'  பட நாயகி பெர்னீஸ் பேஜோ, எரின் மோரியார்ட்டி மற்றும் கேப்டன் பிலிப்ஸ் படத்தில் நடித்த நடிகர் பர்காத் அப்டி ஆகியோரும் இணைய உள்ளனர். பண்டிட் குயின், கம்பெனி போன்ற படங்களில் நடித்து புகழ் பெற்ற இந்திய நடிகையான சீமா பிஸ்வாஸும் இப்படத்தில் முக்கிய கதாப்பாத்திரத்தில் நடிக்கிறார்.  அஜதாஷ்ட்ரு என்ற ஹீரோ கதாப்பாத்திரத்தில் தனுஷ் நடிக்கும் இந்த படம் முழு நீள காமெடி படமாக அமைய உள்ளது.
