Sundar C's trilingual period fantasy, Sangamithra will be launched in famous Cannes Film festival. The director and his team will be walking the red carpet at the forthcoming 70th Cannes Film Festival. The director will be joined on the red carpet by his lead actors, Arya, Jayam Ravi and Shruti Haasan, the film's producer Murali and art director Sabu Cyril.

 

Talking about the film, Shruti, who plays an 8th-century warrior princess, confirms, "I'm excited to take the film to an international audience through such a prestigious platform. The audience across the globe will be able to connect with the story. I'm looking forward to the big day and embarking on this memorable journey with Sundar sir and producer Murali."

 

An excited Sundar C adds, "I'm happy that Sabu Cyril sir will also be joining us. This is the most challenging and special project of my career." Lead actors Jayam Ravi and Arya is also flying to Cannes to be part of the red carpet.

திரைப்பட உலகில் தலை சிறந்ததாக  கருதப்படும் கேன்ஸ் திரைப்படவிழாவில் கோலாகலமாக தொடங்கப்பட இருக்கிறது இயக்குனர் சுந்தர்.சி இயக்கும் பிரமாண்ட திரைப்படம் சங்கமித்ரா. பெருமைமிகு கேன்ஸ் ரெட் கார்ப்பெட்டில் நடக்க இருக்கிறார்கள் சங்கமித்ரா படக்குழுவினர். தேனாண்டாள் பிலிம்ஸ்-ன் வெள்ளிவிழாவை முன்னிட்டு அவர்கள் எடுக்கும் மிக பிரம்மாண்ட படம் இது . இதன் பட்ஜெட் மட்டுமே 250 கோடி ஆகும். இதன் பட்ஜெட் மூலமே இந்தியாவின் மிகப் பிரம்மாண்ட தயாரிப்பான பாகுபலியை பீட் செய்து விட்டது. 

 

இந்த படத்தின் இரண்டு கதாநாயகர்களாக ஜெயம் ரவி மற்றும் ஆர்யா ஒப்பந்தம் ஆகி உள்ளனர். இந்த டைட்டில் கதாபாத்திரமான சங்கமித்ரா வேடத்தில் நடிக்க ஒப்பந்த ஆகி உள்ளார் நடிகை ஸ்ருதி ஹாசன். இந்த படத்தில் ஸ்ருதிக்கு சண்டை காட்சிகள் எல்லாம் உள்ளதாம். அதற்காக லண்டனில் தங்கி பயிற்சியில் ஈடுபட்டு வருகிறார் ஸ்ருதி. அங்கிருந்தபடியே கேன்ஸ் செல்ல உள்ளார் ஸ்ருதி. இயக்குனர் சுந்தர்.சி  கடந்த வாரமே தன் மனைவி குஷ்பூ மற்றும் மகள்களுடன் ஐரோப்பா பயணம்  செய்துள்ளார்.

 

படத்தை பற்றி  பேசுகையில்,"எட்டாம் நூற்றாண்டில் நடக்கும் கதையில் ரோலில் நடிப்பதும், கேன்ஸ் ரெட் கார்ப்பெட்டில் நடப்பது வாழ்வில் மறக்க முடியாத அனுபவமாக இருக்கும்" என்று கூறியுள்ளார் ஸ்ருதி.  "சங்கமித்ரா என்னுடைய கேரியரில் மிகப்பெரிய படமாக இருக்கும். ஏஆர் ரஹ்மான், சாபு சிரில்  போன்றோர் படத்தில் ஒப்பந்தம் ஆகி உள்ளது பெரும் மகிழ்ச்சியை ஏற்படுத்தி உள்ளது" என்று இயக்குனர் சுந்தர்.சி தெரிவித்தார். இந்த விழாவில் நடிகர்கள் ஜெயம் ரவி, ஆர்யா ஆகியோரும் கலந்து கொள்ள இருக்கின்றனர்.
