Vijay Sethupathi confirms the split with Dhanush's movie

Director Vetrimaaran's film Vada Chennai had been in the news since late 2009 with an official announcement only made in November 2011. After being temporarily shelved, the film re-materialised in May 2015 with a new cast and production started in June 2016. Vada Chennai is outed to be a gangster trilogy, the film's cast has Dhanush,Vijay Sethupathi, Samuthirakani, Amala Paul and Andrea in important roles.

Actor Vijay Sethupathi is busy in his own films and Dhanush is concentrating on VIP2 which is causing the delay of Vada Chennai. However, team Vada Chennai has said that Vijay Sethupathi will definitely join the sets. But during the recent Kavan promotions, the actor has clarified that he is no longer associated with Vada Chennai but there are no hard feelings and he still shares a good rapport with Dhanush and the film’s director Vetrimaaran. Sources say that once Dhanush completes Velai Illa Pattadhari 2, we will get a clear idea on who will be replacing Vijay Sethupathi in Vada Chennai.

தேசிய விருது பெற்ற இயக்குனரின் வெற்றிமாறனின் 'வடசென்னை' திரைப்படம் நீண்ட நாட்களாக பேச்சுவார்த்தையில் இருந்து வருகிறது. 2009-ல் இந்த படத்தை எடுக்கத் திட்டமிட்டிருந்தார் வெற்றிமாறன். 2011க்குப் பிறகு இந்த படம் எந்தவித முன்னேற்றமும் இல்லாமல் இருந்தது. வடசென்னை, முழுக்க முழுக்க கேங்ஸ்டர் கதைக்களத்தைக் கொண்டதாக உள்ளதது.  தற்போது மீண்டும் தொடங்கப்பட்டுள்ள இந்த படத்தில் தனுஷ், விஜய் சேதுபதி, அமலா பால், ஆண்ட்ரியா ஆகியோர் நடிக்கின்றனர். 

நடிகர் தனுஷ் தற்சமயம் தன்னுடைய வேலை இல்லா பட்டதாரி-2படத்தின் வேளைகளில் பிசியாக இருக்கிறார். அதனால் வடசென்னை படத்தின் ஷூட்டிங் தொடர்ந்து தள்ளிக் கொண்டே போகிறது. இதனால், விஜய் சேதுபதி வடசென்னை படத்திற்கு கொடுத்த கால்ஷீட்கள் வீணாகின. ஆனாலும், விஜய் சேதுபதி இந்த படத்தில் நீடிக்கிறார் என்றே படக்குழுவினர் கூறி வந்தனர். அனால், சமீபத்தில் கவண் பட புரொமஷன்களில் பங்கேற்றிருந்த விஜய் சேதுபதி தான் வடசென்னை படத்தில் இருந்து விலகுவதாக அறிவித்துள்ளார்.

படத்தில் இருந்து விலகினாலும் எந்த மனக்கசப்பும் இல்லை, நடிகர் தனுஷுடன் இன்னும் நட்புடனேயே இருக்கிறேன் என்றும் விளக்கம் அளித்துள்ளார் விஜய் சேதுபதி. இதற்கு முன்னர் நடிகர்கள் கார்த்தி, சிம்பு, ராணா டகுபதி போன்றோரும் வடசென்னை படத்தில் நடிப்பதாக இருந்து பின்னர் படம் தொடங்க தாமதம் ஆனதால் விலகியது குறிப்பிடத் தக்கது. வேலை இல்லா பட்டதாரி-2 பட வேலைகள் முடிந்து தனுஷ்  வடசென்னை படத்தில் பணியாற்றத் தொடங்கும்போது விஜய் சேதுபதிக்கு பதிலாக யார் நடிப்பார் என்று தெரிய வரும்.
