Dhanush loses his Power

Power Paandi marks the directorial debut of actor Dhanush. The film features Rajkiran in the title role, while Nadhiya, Prasanna and Chaya Singh play pivotal role. Music composer Sean Roldan has composed the songs which are already a hit.

Now after the censor, the movie has obtained U certificate. So Dhanush is optimistic to get the tax exemption from Tamil Nadu Government. However, the title of the movie should be in Tamil, so Dhanush has chnaged the title into Pa.Paandi which is short form of Power Paandi.

Apart from directing the movie, Dhanush has also acted in the movie as younger version of the title role. Actress Madona Sebastian has acted done a cameo role opposite Dhanush. 

பவரை இழந்த தனுஷ் 

நடிகர் தனுஷ் முதன் முறையாக இயக்குனராக அவதாரம் எடுத்திருக்கும் படம் பவர் பாண்டி. நடிகர் ராஜ்கிரண் டைட்டில் ரோலில் நடிக்கிறார். மேலும் நடிகர் பிரசன்னா, நடிகை சாயாசிங் ஆகியோர் முக்கியமான கதாப்பாத்திரங்களில் நடிக்கின்றனர். வளர்ந்து வரும் இசையமைப்பாளர் ஷான் ரோல்டன்,  படத்தின் பாடல்களை இசையமைத்துள்ளார். பாடல்கள் ஏற்கெனவே ரிலீஸ் ஆகி நல்ல வரவேற்பைப் பெற்றுள்ளது.

தமிழ் புத்தாண்டு ரிலீசாக வரும் ஏப்ரல் 14ஆம் தேதி ரிலீஸ் ஆக உள்ள பவர் பாண்டி, தணிக்கைக்கு அனுப்பப்பட்டு அதில் அனைவரும் பார்க்கும் வகையில் இருப்பதால் 'யூ' சான்றிதழ் கிடைத்துள்ளது. மேலும், தமிழக அரசு அளிக்கும் வரிச் சலுகையை பெறவும் முடிவு செய்துள்ளார் தனுஷ். வரிச்சலுகை பெற படத்தின் பெயர் தமிழில் இருப்பது அவசியமாகும். ஆகவே, படத்தின் பெயரை 'ப.பாண்டி' என மாற்றி இருக்கிறார் தனுஷ். ப.பாண்டி என்பது பவர் பாண்டி என்பதன் சுருக்கமாகும். இதன் மூலம் படத்தின் பெயரில் இருந்த பவரை இழந்திருக்கிறார் தனுஷ்.

இந்த படத்தில், இளம் வயது பவர் பாண்டியாக நடித்தும் இருக்கிறார் நடிகர் தனுஷ். இவருக்கு ஜோடியாக கெஸ்ட் ரோலில் நடித்திருக்கிறார் நடிகை மடோனா செபாஸ்டின்.
