Aamir Khan's Secret Superstar is set to lock horns with Rajinikanth-Akshay Kumar starrer 2.0 this Diwali. The film was scheduled for release on 4 August 2017, but will now hit the screens on the festive occasion of Diwali

Also, sources close to the development state, “Aamir himself called Rajini Sir and discussed his concerns vis-à-vis Secret Superstar shifting from August to Diwali. Both the actors share a warm bond and it was with Rajini Sir’s blessings that Aamir has announced a Diwali release for Secret Superstar. Zee has spent about 110 million for the television rights of 2.0, which is also releasing Secret Superstar. So it is expected that either of the movies' release dates might change.

திடீரென தன்னுடைய படத்தை ரஜினியின் படத்திற்கு போட்டியாக வெளியிட உள்ளதால், நடிகர் அமீர் கானே நேரடியாக சூப்பர் ஸ்டார் ரஜினியை தொடர்பு கொண்டு பேசியுள்ளார். இந்த முடிவைக் கேட்டதும், ரஜினியும் வாஞ்சையுடன் சம்மதித்தாராம்.  சீக்ரெட் சூப்பர் ஸ்டார் படம் வெற்றி பெறவும் வாழ்த்து தெரிவித்துள்ளாராம் ரஜினி, இதனால் மிகவும் மகிழ்ச்சியில் உள்ளார் அமீர் கான். சீக்ரெட் சூப்பர் ஸ்டார் படத்தினை ஜீடிவி குழுமம் வாங்கி வெளியிட உள்ளது, ஜீடிவி தான் எந்திரன் 2.0 படத்தின் தொலைக்காட்சி உரிமையை 110 கோடி ரூபாய்க்கு வாங்கி உள்ளது என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது. இதனால், கடைசி நேரத்தில் இவ்விரு படங்களின் ரிலீஸ் தேதிகளை மாற்றம் செய்யலாம் என்று எதிர்பார்க்கப்படுகிறது.
