‘Life is one fake story’ - reveals Bench Flix through their short film ‘FAKE STORY’

Sometimes what you hear and see is unbelievable, better we stop, pause and think for a minute before believing. After all, life is one big Fake Story. And this powerful tagline is proved by the short film ‘FAKE STORY’ released by one of the significant short film promoters in India - Bench Flix.

Police wants to hunt the underworld Don Iniyan aka Puliyanthoppu Mani based on the statement of an eyewitness. Somehow Mani smells this secret info and he wants to hunt that eyewitness through his new henchman. What happens next is the unexpected twist of the short film – Fake Story.

சினிமாவில் சாதிக்க வேண்டும் என்று எண்ணும் இளம் திறமையாளர்கள் பலர், தங்களின் தனித்துவமான குறும்படங்களால் ரசிகர்களின் மனதை கவர்வது மட்டுமின்றி, தமிழ் திரையுலகிலும் கால் பதித்து வெற்றி கண்டு வருகின்றனர். அத்தகைய இளம் படைப்பாளிகளை கண்டறிந்து, அவர்களை வெளிச்சத்திற்கு கொண்டு வரும் பணியை செம்மையாக செய்து வருகிறது, இந்தியாவில் குறும்படங்களை தயாரிப்பதில் முன்னணி நிறுவனமாக செய்யப்பட்டு வரும்  'பெஞ்ச் பிலிக்ஸ்'. இவர்களின் அடுத்த படைப்பு   'ஃபேக் ஸ்டோரி'. 

போலீசாரிடம் இருந்து மறைந்து மறைந்து வாழ்ந்து கொண்டிருக்கும் ஒரு நிழல் உலக தாதா தான் - புளியந்தோப்பு மணி என்கின்ற இனியன். இவனை ஒரு பெண்  சாட்சி அளித்த வாக்கு  மூலத்தின் அடிப்படையில் போலீசார் கைது செய்ய திட்டமிடுகின்றனர். ஆனால் அந்த பெண்  சாட்சியை  எப்படியோ தெரிந்து கொண்டு அவளை கொல்ல  மணி அவனுடைய புதிய அடியாள் ஒருவனை அனுப்புகின்றான். அதற்கு பின் நடக்கும் எதிர்பாராத சம்பவங்கள் தான் இந்த 'ஃபேக் ஸ்டோரி' குறும்படத்தின் கதை.
