Anushka Shetty (Sweety Shetty) is an actress who works in
Tamil and Telugu film industry. She was introduced and made her acting debut by
Puri Jagannath in telugu movie Super. She was mainly known for choosing female
centric movies like Arundathi, Rudharamadevi, Size Zero and many others. But
she gained popularity with 2005 blockbuster movie Vikramarkudu. Her first
Kollywood movie is Rendu. Anushka has won Filmfare Award, Nandi Award, CineMAA
Award and also received Kalaimamani Award for her works in Tamil industry. She
was voted as Hyderabad's Most Desirable Woman of 2015. She will be seen in
Baahubali 2 and Bhagmati.
Anushka was born as Sweety Shetty on 7 November 1981 in
Banglore, Karnataka. She completed her graduation in BCA from Mount Caramel
College of Banglore University. She wished to do PG in Computer Science but was
not fulfilled. She was also featured in several television commercials. Apart
from films and ads, she is a Yoga Instructor and got trained under yoga guru
Bharat Thakur. She can speak in Tulu, Telugu, Tamil, English and Kannada
languages.

landed Bellipady Uramalu Guthu family. Her father is Vittal Shetty and mother
Prafulla Shetty. She has two elder brothers. Her first brother Sai Ramesh
Shetty, is a cosmetic surgeon got married to Saloni Rai. Her second brother
Gunaranjan Shetty is a businessman.
Anushka has started her acting career with Puri Jagannath's
film "Super" alongside Akkineni Nagarjuna. She got her big break with
2006 movie "Vikramarkudu". In 2008 she had appeared in six films and
then starred in the fantasy film "Arundhati". This movie has gained
her "Nandi Special Jury Award" and "Filmfare Best Actress
Award".
After her movie Vedam, her next Telugu film Panchakshari,
was a heroine-centric film. In 2013 she played main lead in action-romantic
flick "Mirchi" which was a block buster hit. In 2017 she was seen Om
Namo Venkatesaya and Singam 3.
As per the reports, Anushka's family have found a suitable
bridegroom for her. If sources are to be believed, her marriage will happen
with a family friend. It will be completely an arranged marriage for the
actress. Talk is that, the person is a Bengaluru based realtor.
