Rachitha Mahalakshmi is a tamil serial television actress
from Chennai. She got more famous and well known actress as Vijay Tv Saravanan
Meenatchi Serial. She is often called by names like Thanga Meenatchi, Saravanan
Meenakshi Mahaa etc, which is the name of the popular character she played on
screen. She is also often called ‘Expression Queen’ of tamil serial industry.
Rachitha is born and brought up in Chennai. Her mother
tongue is Kannada. Rachitha Speaks Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Hindi and English. She
has completed her schooling and college in same city. After completing her
college, She entered in tamil serial industry and also got a chance to express
in big screen. After that she married to Dinesh Gopalsamy. He is Chennai based
business man.
She made her television debut in the year 2013, with the
television serial Ilavarasi in Sun television. Then in 2011 She made first
serial in Vijay Tv for Pirivom Santhippom. Later, She got to play a lead role
in popular serial Saravanan Meenakshi in Vijay Tv. Rachitha turn out as a
popular actress in screen after her performance in popular Vijay Tv serial. She
received “Best Female Actor” award at Vijay Television Awards 2015.
With the fame of Saravanan Meenatchi, Rachitha never thought
she would make an entry to big screen. She got her first film offer through
“Uppu Karuvadu” thought her role is very short. She played a role named Uma.
The film also featuring Karunakaran, Sathish, Nandita Swetha. After her debut
film, She has received many offers from kollywood, and now she is planning to
accept a few roles in big scree industry.
