Sivakarthikeyan is a film actor and well known play back singer. Siva began his career as a stand-up comedy artist and also television personality at Vijay Tv. Initially he introduced in reality shows, includes the stand-up comedy show Kalakka Povathu Yaaru and the dance competition show Jodi No.1. Later he went on to become a recurring host of those shows, especially the popular Athu Ithu Ethu, and many other Star Vijay shows for multiple seasons. In a short time, he made his acting debut in Marina and Manam Kothi Paravai. He has performed lead roles in other films too such as Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga, Ethir Neechal, Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam, Maan Karate, Kaaki Sattai, Rajini Murugan and Remo.

After getting success in Remo movie, Sivakarthikeyan steps into Velaikkaran movie with Actress Nayanthara which is written and directed by Mohan Raja. Cast Crew are Nayanthara, Fahadh, Faasil, Sneha, etc in lead roles. The movie music composed by Anirudh Ravichander and cinematography by Ramji and which is edited by Vivek Harshan. The movie is fully based on how a young man from the slums fights against the food adulteration issue. The film is going to hit the screens in 25^th August 2017.
